Good Friends
I once received a bumper sticker on facebook that said bad friends will tell you that you’ve had too much to drink and stop you from drinking more, good friends will keep drinking with you. At the time I agreed with this saying to a degree; but over the past break from school this has changed.
A good friend is a friend whose so comfortable with you that they’ll tell you something that they’ve been keeping from everyone else but will say it to you because they thought they told you already. Good friends call you up to hang out and play scrabble even though they could go out and drink. Good friends know your typical phrases, and will say them before you even get a chance to.
These friends are more then good, they’re great. They’re the friends that are there for you no matter what. You expect nothing from them and they expect nothing from you, and those are the best friends you can ask for.
